Mike's Master Classes

Mike's Master Classes is a centralized source for studying with great Jazz Masters from around the world.  The Masters Mike has on the roster are comprised of some of the best performers and educators in the world.  The focus is predominately on jazz and for those who want to expand their improvisation and performance skills.  Initially, the Masters were guitarists, but have expanded into bassists and other instrumentalists and vocalists as well.  If you are looking for jazz guitar lessons , Mike has some of the top masters providing new video lessons weekly.

**New Class** The Diminished Scale: A Modern Jazz Guitar Approach | 3-Part Series by Tom Lippincott

Class one of this series concentrates on the basics of the diminished scale, how and when to use it, and how to weave it organically into single-note improvisations.
Class two covers all 14 triads and/or three-note structures within the diminished scale, how to find them and voice them on the guitar, and how to use them for comping and soloing.
Class three locates and investigates all 20 four-note chords or structures from the diminished scale and presents them in a guitar-friendly context that will make them easy to implement for comping and soloing.

Mike's Downloadable Classes

For over three years, beginning in June 2006, classes were held online and live, and recordings were captured of these classes to be available to students.  Fantastic classes are still recorded often and added to the list of downloadable classes.
